ENEX in Latin America
ENEX’s Latin American partners have met in the Dominican Republic to hear about the latest ENEX innovations. Top of the list was the roll-out of new Streambox technology which allows partners, beyond the Eutelsat footprint, to more easily receive ENEX live content. ENEX has worked with its partners at Streambox and BCE to provide this new solution to its partner group. ENEX expects to provide more than 1600 live transmissions in 2016 as well as over 40,000 video items through its platform.
The conference (March 16-18th) is part of the annual meeting of the Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana (AIL), held in Santo Domingo, home to Noticias SIN, Dominican partner to both ENEX and the AIL.
The Latin American stations have become an increasingly important part of ENEX over the last four years with 13 of ENEX’s 55 members now from the region.
On October 6,7,8 2016, Caracol TV Colombia will host the ENEX General Assembly in Cartagena – the first time ENEX’s annual meeting will have been held outside of Europe or New York.
