Covid-19: The ENEX Home Front
ENEX has seen many records broken as our partners cover the pandemic.
Like many of your HQs, ENEX’s operations have been converted to remote working with our virtual newsroom occupying kitchens, living rooms, and balconies.
In March, a record total number of 1,900 video items were broadcast by ENEX’s 55 global partners.
Our video sourcing from social platforms (ENEX Discovery) also reached record levels – Twitter being the most important source.
An exclusive Sky UK report from inside Bergamo Hospital in Northern Italy was the most used item since records began. Colleagues from SkyTG24 Italy had to evacuate their news centre in Milan and rebase to Rome. Two of their leading programmes are now broadcast from Presenters’ homes.
